The official 2011 Cambodia mission trip has begun! Liz and Marti left RST this morning, bound for MSP, Tokyo, Bangkok, and finally Phnom Penh.
But the CCC Cambodia adventure has been going on for years.
Over 5 years ago there was a vision at CCC to focus a majority of our mission energy on one country. God connected us with the missionaries in Cambodia, and a partnership was born. Since then, dozens of people from CCC have been to Cambodia, we have sent funds there for all sorts of projects, sponsored more than 40 children in a Cambodian orphanage, the first thyroid clinic in the country was opened with the expert help of several CCC members, countless prayers have been lifted to the God who hears us, and even a bit of romance has blossomed (a young lady from CCC was married to one of the missionaries' children, and recently their first child was born).
We look forward to seeing how God will use this year's team!
